2017 TUMBAFEST SATURDAY HEADLINE ARTISTS – WILBUR WILDE & THE TROUBLEMAKERS FT FRANKIE J. HOLDEN

The Tumbafest Committee is excited to announce that Wilbur Wilde and The Troublemakers featuring Frankie J. Holden are the headline artists for Saturday 25th February 2017.

Wilbur Wilde is a multi-talented Australian saxophonist, television and radio presenter. Wilbur rose to fame with Ol’ 55 in 1975 and has been a fixture on the Australian music scene ever since. An avid jazz enthusiast, continuing to wow with live performances around the country in Rock and Jazz groups.

Wilbur’s band The Troublemakers are a five piece band renowned for performing big rock and roll hits from Ol’ 55, Daddy Cool, Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons, Chuck Berry and many more, ensuring to be an interactive artist set providing first class entertainment.

Wilbur Wilde and the Troublemakers will be featuring Frankie J. Holden. Both Wilbur and Frankie J. were foundation members of the Hey Hey It’s Saturday cast, having these two stars perform together again with an outstanding band will be a huge event and sure to impress.

In the entertainment industry, Frankie J. is a triple treat combo being a singer, actor and television presenter whilst also being a successful business owner. Frankie J. was the frontman for the popular Australian retro-rock band Ol’ 55, which included Wilbur Wilde and Jimmy Manzie. Frankie J. has a stellar career and was honoured in 2016 as a Member of the Order of Australia.
